by Saxtead Parish Council
The Parish Council plays an important role in providing local services. Meetings are held roughly every two months, normally on a Thursday evening. All members of the public are invited to attend.
Agendas and minutes from the meetings can be found on our website in the 'Meetings' section, as well as on our village noticeboards.
Our provisional meeting dates for 2026 are:
8th January, 12th March, 7th May (with the Annual Parish Meeting), 9th July, 10th September and 12th November.
In addition, meetings will be held as required to discuss significant planning applications and extraordinary events.
All residents are welcome to attend and ask questions or raise matters of concern in the Public Forum near the start of the Meeting.
The Parish Council responds to planning applications, manages cutting of the playing field and deals with many other local matters.
